| Eligibility Criteria |
- Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Urdu, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Public Administration: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in the relevant subject with a Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE)/Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Home Science: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC/Indian Council of Agricultural Research in Home Science with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in the relevant subject with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Biology: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Zoology/Botany/Micro-Biology/Bio-Technology/Life Science/Bio Science, provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level, with Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Commerce: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Commerce with B.Com. OR Postgraduate in Commerce with at least two teaching subjects for Higher Secondary classes as prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer. Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE/Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Drawing: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Drawing or equivalent qualification by the Government, or a Diploma of four/five years’ duration in Arts from a recognized school/college. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Music: Postgraduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC in Music or equivalent qualification by the Government. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Physical Education: Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC and Postgraduate in Physical Education/M.P.Ed. (2 years duration) recognized by NCTE. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Coach (Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis): Graduate or equivalent examination recognized by UGC with Degree or Diploma in Physical Education and Full-term/time National Institute of Sports (NIS) Certificate from any NIS branch. Working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

- Written Examination (Objective type: Paper I - General Awareness & Education, Paper II - Subject Concerned).

| Syllabus and Exam Pattern |
- Paper I (General Awareness & Education): 150 marks, 75 questions, 1.5 hours, subjects include Rajasthan History, Geography, Culture, Current Affairs, General Science, Indian Polity, Educational Psychology.
- Paper II (Subject Concerned): 300 marks, 150 questions, 3 hours, covers Senior Secondary, Graduation, and Post-Graduation level knowledge of the chosen subject, plus pedagogy and recent trends.
- Marking Scheme: 2 marks per correct answer, 1/3 marks deducted for incorrect answers (negative marking).
- Minimum Qualification Marks: 40% in each paper.

- Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level 12 (₹44,300 - ₹1,42,400 per month).
- Grade Pay: ₹4,800/-.
- Allowances: HRA, DA, TA, and other allowances as per Rajasthan Government rules.
