The Indian Navy (Nausena Bharti) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers for the June 2026 course at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala. A total of 260 posts are available across Executive, Technical, and Education branches. Eligibility |
- General Service (GS/X): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks.
- Air Traffic Controller (ATC): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks; 60% marks in English in Class 10th/12th.
- Naval Air Operations Officer (NAOO): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks; 60% marks in English in Class 10th/12th.
- Pilot: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with 60% marks; 60% marks in English in Class 10th/12th.
- Logistics: BE/B.Tech in any discipline, MBA, MCA, M.Sc (IT), B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc (IT) with PG Diploma in Finance, all with First Class.
- Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, etc., with 60% marks, or PG in Electronics/Physics; 60% marks in English in Class 10th/12th.
- Law: LLB with 55% marks, eligible for enrolment as an advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
- Engineering Branch (GS): BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Instrumentation, Production, Aeronautical, etc., with 60% marks.
- Electrical Branch (GS): BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Power Engineering, etc., with 60% marks.
- Naval Constructor: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Naval Architecture, etc., with 60% marks.
- Education (M.Sc.): M.Sc in Maths/Operational Research with Physics in B.Sc, or M.Sc in Physics/Applied Physics with Maths in B.Sc, or M.Sc in Chemistry with Physics in B.Sc, all with 60% marks.
- Education (Tech): BE/B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Communication, VLSI, etc., with 60% marks.
- Nationality: Must fulfill conditions as laid down by the Government of India.
- Marital Status: Unmarried men and women.

Selection Process |
- Shortlisting based on normalized marks in qualifying degree (BE/B.Tech: up to 5th semester; PG: all semesters).
- SSB Interview (5 days): Stage I (Screening: OIR + PPDT), Stage II (Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, Personal Interview).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- Final Merit List based on SSB marks, medical fitness, and vacancy availability.
- Training at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, starting June 2026 as Sub Lieutenant.

Pay Scale |
