Eligibility
  • Flying Branch: Graduation (any discipline) with 60% marks, passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level, or B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks.
  • Ground Duty (Technical): B.E./B.Tech with 60% marks in specified engineering disciplines.
  • Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation with 60% marks in relevant discipline (e.g., B.Com for Accounts, Post-Graduation for Education).
  • NCC Special Entry: NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate, with eligibility as per Flying Branch.
  • Additional qualifications as per official notification.
Selection Process
  • Written Exam (AFCAT: 300 marks; EKT for Technical: 150 marks).
  • Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Testing: Psychological Tests, Group Tests, Interview, and CPSS (for Flying Branch).
  • Document Verification.
  • Medical Examination.
Pay Scale
In-hand salary: ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 (Level 10 Pay Matrix, 7th CPC), plus Military Service Pay, allowances (DA, HRA, etc.) as per IAF norms.
